Annual free Land Rover wheeling weekend held on President's Day weekend in Benton, Maine, running since 1996. No registration, tech inspection or schedule.
<p>The Maine Winter Romp runs every President's Day weekend and has done so since 1996. It is held at Bruce Fowler's property in Benton, Maine, with a trail network spanning 207 acres held in trust as the Sebasticook Millennium Green.</p><p>There is no registration fee, no tech inspection, no insurance requirement and no schedule. The event's one rule is 'No Whining.'</p><p>The event draws over 130 Land Rovers and 270 enthusiasts, with attendees from as far as California and Great Britain. Trails include the Pit of Despair, Screaming Eagle and the Bypass.</p>
